How do I make a return or exchange?

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, jewelry in its original condition may be exchanged within 30 days of delivery for merchandise credit.  Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless in the case of a manufacturer defect.  Please ship your return merchandise well packaged and insured with return receipt requested to:

April Aultman Jewelry/Returns
PO BOX 4342
Durango, CO 81302

Please note, the cost of the returned shipping is the customers responsibility. If the item is an exchange, I will gladly ship your exchanged item (s) ground at no charge to you.

Can the length of my necklace or bracelet be modified?

Yes. There is no cost to have the chain shortened if your item is a new purchase and no additional components are needed. The cost to have a chain lengthened will be calculated based on the cost per inch of the chain. Shipping and handling fees may apply.

Does April Aultman Jewelry accept custom jewelry requests?

Yes, I would love to discuss your ideas.   E-mail me at hello@aprilaultmanjewelry.com

I lost an earring. Can I buy just one earring to replace the one I lost?

Yes. The price of one replacement earring is half of the full price pair. Replacements involving stones will be matched to the best of my ability and may take additional time. I recommend sending the remaining earring so it can be refinished to match the new one. Shipping and handling fees apply. Please ship your earring well packaged and insured with return receipt requested to:

I am sensitive to certain metals.  Will I be able to wear April Aultman earrings?

Yes.  All earrings, even silver styles, are made with solid, nickle free 14k gold post or wires to reduce the risk of sensitivity.  If you are allergic to gold or particular alloys, please contact me to discuss your options.

What does oxidized mean?

Oxidized or blackened silver is sterling silver which has been darkened in a way that imitates the natural tarnishing process. Jewelry with oxidation should not be subjected to silver polishing liquids, silver dips, or ultrasonic cleaning because they can remove the oxidization and damage the surface quality.  Oxidation may fade or darker with time. This is not a defect, but a natural result of wear and tear.  Write me at hello@aprilaultmanjewelry.com to inquire about having your piece polished, cleaned, or re-oxidized.
