I have been an artist since the day I was born, spending every moment driven by design, color, and progression. At first it was plants and dirt, then paint and clay, and as each year went by I found more ways to add to my creative expression. Before I knew it I was 17 years old and had just landed the Frances Larkin Scholarship to attend Savannah College of Art and Design. The options were limitless there, but fate quickly steered me to an “Introduction to Metals and Jewelry” class. It was love at first cut. The ability to create wearable, enduring designs in such a short amount of time was fascinating. From that point on it has been a constant evolution of growth and exploration. Today April Aultman Jewelry embodies every lesson, triumph, and failure wrapped up into one small and mighty package. Right now April Aultman Jewelry is me in a 150 sq/ft workshop giving it all I've got. In the last 16 years I have studied design, fabrication, wearability, damage, and repair. Thus confidently presenting to you a line built to be worn through all life’s adventures.
